In this episode, I speak with Hadega Aamer, PhD, MSC
Hadega Aamer is a scientist who completed her Bachelor’s in Biology (pre-medicine) at Eastern Washington University. As an undergraduate, she discovered her passion for research and pursed her master’s at the University of Pittsburgh followed by her PhD at the University of Washington in 2019 studying Pathobiology. Her research focused on understanding the persistence of HIV in infected individuals. After her PhD, she joined the field of biotechnology and became a Scientist at Sana Biotech to engineer cells and genes to combat diseases.
